Description
Split reins with rope connectors, a metal free alternative to snaps if you prefer not to have metal parts on your tack. Since they are made entirely out of rope these reins are very durable, but at the same time easy to attach and unfasten. There are 2 rope dimensions to choose from, 10 and 14 mm (3/8" and 9/16"), depending on if you prefer somewhat thinner and lighter reins or thicker and heavier ones. The green reins in the pictures are made out of 10 mm rope.
The rein ends each have a decorative tassel. The knot on the tassels and the matching knots on the rope connectors can be made in 2 different patterns, as shown in the pictures. The knots and the rest of the tassels can be made with 2 colors for the knot pattern to be visible but if you rather want solid-colored details, simply choose the same color for knot + tassel color 1 and 2 in the options above.
