Loop reins with rope connectors, a metal free alternative to snaps if you prefer not to have metal parts on your tack. Since they are made entirely out of rope these reins are very durable, but at the same time easy to attach and unfasten. You can find more information about how rope connectors work on the page FAQ & Info
There are 2 rope dimensions to choose from, 10 and 14 mm (3/8" and 9/16"), depending on if you prefer somewhat thinner and lighter reins or thicker and heavier ones. The blue reins in the pictures are made out of 10 mm rope and the black ones out of 14 mm rope.
This particular variant also has a ring knot that marks the middle of the reins so you can easily see if your reins are even when you are riding. Since reins made of double braided rope are heavier than leather reins they can give your horse wrong signals if they are uneven, but if you have a middle marker on your reins you can easily avoid that.
If you want completely solid-colored reins you can choose the same color for the middle marker and the rope connectors as for the reins or you can choose different colors for a nice contrast.
