Long split reins with rope connectors, a metal free alternative to snaps if you prefer not to have metal parts on your tack. Since they are made entirely out of rope these reins are very durable, but at the same time easy to attach and unfasten. You can find more information about how rope connectors work on the page
FAQ & Info.
The rein ends are back spliced, which is a neater and more durable way of finishing a rope than just melting or taping the end. Back splices are also smooth and have a minimal risk of getting caught on something if they get dragged along the ground, so I have chosen to have back splices as the standard end option on all of the long split reins available here on the website. But if you would rather have some other end alternative such as end knots or tassels you are welcome to contact me and I can custom-make long reins just the way you want them.
