This halter is not tied as a regular rope halter, instead you simply adjust the size of the halter by moving the tie loop on the left side up or down between the five knots on the tie end depending on how big you want the halter to be. You can find more information about how to do this on the page
FAQ & Info.
Since this type of rope halter has five fixed positions to adjust the size between it is less adjustable than a rope halter that you tie the usual way. But if you think it is difficult to tie a regular rope halter or simply do not want to tie your rope halter each time you use it this halter is a convenient alterative.
This particular variant also has a braided noseband in addition to the knots on the tie end. There are 2 braid patterns to choose from for the noseband and the end knot on the tie end, as shown in the pictures. The braiding can be done with 2 colors for the pattern to be visible but if you rather want solid-colored braiding, simply choose the same color for braid color 1 and 2 in the options above. The other knots are always solid-colored.
You can add extra nose knots if you want a rope halter that gives your horse extra clear signals and you can also add sidepull attachments if you want to be able to attach reins on the sides of your horse's head. You can then choose between sidepull rings made of metall (like the burgundy halter in picture 2) or sidepull loops tied with the same rope as the rest of the halter (like the red halter in picture 3). If you choose to add sidepull rings/loops, a ring knot above the fiador knot is included in the price to help keep the fiador knot in place when you have reins attached to the sides and do not use the lead rope loops.
Please note: If this is the first time you order a rope halter from Pilgrimsrep, I strongly recommend that you measure your horse's nose circumference according to the instructions on the
Size guide page to find the right size for your horse, since sizes can vary somewhat between manufacturers.
