Description
Split reins with rope connectors, a metal free alternative to snaps if you prefer not to have metal parts on your tack. Since they are made entirely out of rope these reins are very durable, but at the same time easy to attach and unfasten. There are 2 rope dimensions to choose from, 10 and 14 mm (3/8" and 9/16"), depending on if you prefer somewhat thinner and lighter reins or thicker and heavier ones. The black reins in the pictures are made out of 10 mm rope and the brown ones out of 14 mm rope.
The rein ends each have a decorative end knot. These end knots and the matching knots on the rope connectors can be made in 2 different patterns, as shown in the pictures, and with 2 colors for the knot pattern to be visible. If you rather want solid-colored knots, simply choose the same color for knot color 1 and 2 in the options above.
