This rope halter has small loops behind the nose knots that you can attach reins to and can thus be used as a sidepull headstall. When you ride with reins attached on the sides of your horse's head you can give clear direct and open rein aids, which can help if, for example, your horse is not so used to being ridden bitless.
This particular variant also has a braided noseband and a decorative knot on the tie end. There are 2 braid patterns to choose from, as shown in the pictures. The braiding can be done with 2 colors for the pattern to be visible but if you rather want solid-colored braiding, simply choose the same color for braid color 1 and 2 in the options above.
You can also add extra nose knots if you want a rope halter that gives your horse extra clear signals.
The sidepull rope halters I make normally have lead rope loops so that you can also use them for ground work, but if you plan to use your halter only for riding you can choose not to have lead rope loops. The variant with lead rope loops has a ring knot above the fiador knot to keep it in place when you ride with reins attached to the side loops and do not use the lead rope loops.
